Set Up Your Game: A Few of My Favorite Baseball Blog Posts

Baseball has been a huge part of my life since I was little. I started playing baseball in little league and played up until I was a junior in high school. I've also been a very big fan of the Chicago cubs for as long as I can remember. Over the past months I have written a variety of different blog posts and pages on various baseball related topics. I'd like to use this post to highlight a few of my posts and pages that I wrote which I think are the most important or most fun to read.

The first post of many posts that I want to bring to light more is my "White Sox Have Set the MLB Record for Most Losses in a Season" post. This post highlighted several key factors about this year's Sox season like:

        - How the White Sox only won 41 of 162 games

        - How the White Sox managed to beat the previous loss record of 120 losses set by the Mets

        - What does this means for the future of the Chicago White Sox

Another blog post I'd like to highlight, is "My Interview with Ben Zobrist" post. This post was extra special to me since it's not every day you get to meet a professional baseball player that was not only on your favorite team, but also helped your favorite team win their first world series in 108 years. A few topics I highlight in this post include:

        - What has his experiences been while playing major league baseball

        - What it felt like to win the world series for the Chicago Cubs

        - If during the world series he or the team had any doubts of winning

The last blog post I'd like to throw out there more is "The Problem of Steroids Within Baseball" post. In this post I dive deeper into the issue with steroids in major league sports, but specifically baseball. I love baseball so much, and I hated seeing players on steroids perform better than the rest. It put everyone else at an unfair disadvantage. During this post, I talk about:

        - The unfair advantage players on steroids have against players who aren't on steroids

        - How steroids destroy the sense of fair competition at a major league level

        - The dangers of steroids and the message professional players being on steroids sends to children that look up to them

All of these blog posts are extremely important to me, so it would mean the world to me if you all could give them a look.
